Perrigo has announced a voluntary recall from retailers of certain lots of its store brand Acetaminophen 500 mg caplets.  To determine if the product you have purchased is part of the recall please follow these steps:

1. Check to ensure that the store brand Acetaminophen you purchased is 500 mg caplets. Only certain batches of 500mg caplets are affected by the recall.

2. A list of retailers/wholesalers that have distributed affected batches can be found at http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/perrigo/perrigocustlist.html.

3. To see if your 500 mg Acetaminophen batch number, which is located on the label (See photo below for location of batch number on label), is on the recall list, click on the following link, http://www.fda.gov/oc/po/firmrecalls/perrigo/perrigobatchlist.html

4. If the batch number on your container matches one of the affected batch numbers you may either discard the package and contents or mail the product to:
