A Spotlight on..... Isabel Condon

IC

Isabel Condon has been with Perrigo for 5 years and is a Senior Procurement Planner in our Global Procurement & Supply Chain Department based at our Dublin HQ

How has your career progressed since you joined Perrigo? It is without the slightest hesitation that I can say, joining Perrigo is one of the best things that has ever happened to me – truly! Mainly due to the people (but we’ll get to that…!) but also because of the variety of experience that I have been afforded. Over the years, I have been involved in our Global Department Internal Communications, working with our CSR & Sustainability colleagues & strongly involved in Perrigo’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) efforts. These experiences have resulted in my engaging with colleagues of all levels, from most departments & many of our global locations.

What keeps you at Perrigo? That’s easy! It’s the people who make a place and we have great people in Perrigo. Plus, I have been very lucky with wonderfully supportive management who have actively encouraged my involvement and development in other areas, such as DEI, CSR & Sustainability.

What would you say to people thinking about applying to Perrigo? Absolutely go for it! Check out the Perrigo website for vacancies, upload your CV today or reach out to a member of the TA team…

How would you describe the company culture? Warm, kind, fun, helpful, encouraging!

What do you like about life at Perrigo? Being a global company, we have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from our various locations – that said, the Dublin office in and of itself, is hugely international! Also, in the Dublin office we have a brilliant Sports & Social Club and have had great times together out of that.

Tell us a unique fact about yourself! Not quite unique but I am a lover of words & language and am currently addicted to Wordle …thank goodness there’s only 1 per day!!

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is major focus for Perrigo. We believe that by acknowledging and embracing our different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, we become even more aware of our unique consumer needs. TOGETHER, we make lives better.

What does DEI mean to you? A lot! For me, this is an area of continuous learning. DEI is fundamentally about humanity and having an open, curious and caring mind.

Have you been involved in any DEI initiatives at Perrigo? Yes! I first got involved 4+ years ago through our Leadership Lens Focus on Women initiative. From there, I joined and became the DEI Dublin Committee lead & am also a member of our Global DEI committee – preparing for and promoting our campaigns throughout the year (PRIDE, IWD, Day of Persons with Disabilities, Elimination of Racial Discrimination, Movember, Cultural Diversity…) and also contributing to workstreams such as our Inclusion Influencer & Promoter Network and our B-I-Gs (Business Inclusion Groups).

What has influenced your thinking around DEI? As I mentioned above, it’s the people who make a place and I am passionate about people and their well-being. Also, I think personal life experiences result in you having (hopefully!) more empathy towards others and what they may be going through. We hope that our DEI focus in Perrigo provides a bit more awareness, understanding and comfort for our colleagues.

We are always looking for passionate, dedicated people to join our teams at Perrigo. Take your next career step today and check out our live vacancies!
