Sil Carrein is a QC Lab Analyst at our Medgenix site in Wevelgem, Belgium. Below he shares with us a quick snapshot into his experience at Medgenix!
What location are you based in?
I’m based at Perrigo Wevelgem at the lab of wet chemistry.The lab is currently being renovated and expanded. Currently there are 6 people working within the wet chemistry lab. The new lab makes sure there is enough space for everyone to work and the colleagues makes sure there is a good atmosphere to work!
Tell me about your commute to work? How do other colleagues commute to work?
There is a large parking lot so everybody can park their car and it is also based at a relative calm environment.The location of Perrigo Wevelgem is very convenient for me which is a major plus!
What is a typical day like for you onsite?
Analysing resources for our products is a very varied role so it is never a boring job! I am grateful of the onsite canteen so the positive vibe with the colleagues is maintained and makes the days pleasant!
How would you describe the location?
I would say that Medgenix is a location full of growth and rejuvenation!
What are the career development opportunities?
In the current function I am given a lot of extra responsibilities so I can grow in many directions. There is also a platform for self-learning for those that are interested in upskilling!
How would you describe the leadership style at Perrigo Medgenix?
I would definitely say that our leaders are very supportive and coaching in their management style!
