Annie Henrickson is a Sales Account Executive at our US based headquarters in Michigan! She has been with Perrigo for over 10 years - find out a little more about Annie below!
How has your career progressed since you joined Perrigo? I joined Perrigo in 2010 and have held a variety of roles, starting in our Engineering internship program to leading a team of 25 as a Production Engineer in Operations. I transitioned to the Sales department in 2015 as a Trade Marketing Manager and am now an Account Executive supporting a top retail customer.
What would you say to people thinking about applying to Perrigo? Perrigo is an organization that values diverse experiences and offers opportunities to grow in areas that you are interested in! My unique career path is a great example of how Perrigo supports and develops their employees.
How would you describe the company culture? We all care deeply about making lives better by bringing Quality, Affordable, Self-Care Products that consumers trust everywhere they are sold. This is embedded in everything that we do, and we all work hard in our respective teams to drive this vision and grow the business.
What keeps you at Perrigo? The people! I still remember how welcomed and accepted I felt by everyone I interacted with during my summer internship with Perrigo, which was a major factor as to why I made the decision to come back full time. People genuinely want each other to succeed and do well. This feeling of inclusion has been consistent throughout the variety of roles and departments I have had the pleasure to be a part of.
What is your favorite part of your role? I love being able to leverage Perrigo’s insights and analytics to help our retail partners identify strategies that will grow our joint businesses. There’s nothing more satisfying than aligning on a project opportunity, executing it together with the customer and seeing the positive impact at shelf.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself! During my time with Perrigo, I’ve traveled to 22 different cities across 3 countries for various engineering projects and sales responsibilities.
