How long have you worked here? Can you tell us more about your role and background? I come from an FMCG background, having worked across different Marketing and Strategy roles in various key players for the past nine years. In January 2019 I started my journey with Perrigo as a Brand Manager for Nytol. It has been a rollercoaster ride and I have been enjoying every single moment of it! The business has also given me the unique opportunity to reinvent myself and continue growing professionally in a different department. This is why in September 2020, I have joined the Sales Team as National Account Manager for the Discount Channel. It is a very exciting role which involves building strong opportunities for my customers and setting them up for a sustainable growth in the years to come.
What made you decide to join Perrigo? Perrigo is well known for its strong culture and it is, of course, a competitive organisation that keep on feeding your ambitions; no wonder we won the OTC award for the best company of the year in 2020! The organisation is also made of people that are super smart and very fun to work with. There is always friendly, fun banter with us - that is guaranteed 😉
How has your career progressed since you joined Perrigo? I have joined Perrigo as a Brand Manager at first and have worked in this role for nearly two years. However, in September 2020 the company gave me the unique opportunity to change my career into Sales, which is an area I really wanted to challenge myself in and grow into. This is something not many companies would offer but Perrigo cares about its employees and wants you to develop your skills further to improve yourself and always keep you motivated.
What keeps you at Perrigo? The company has a strong culture and the Senior Management Team simply rocks! They care about employees and listen to them all the time. They are very supportive of people’s needs and aspirations and they will do anything they can to help you realise them. They practice what they preach for sure!
What is your favourite part of your role? Customers meetings is what I love the most. I really enjoy discussing initiatives and finding ways to always grow their business. Customers FIRST, this is our motto.
What is your career highlight so far? It is too early to mention any great success in Sales as I’ve joined not too long ago. However, when I was Brand Manager for Nytol I can surely be proud to have launched the brand’s first liquid sleep aid in Pharmacy in over 20 years: Nytol Liquid Caramel Flavour. Which also received 3 nominations in the 2020 OTC Marketing Awards. It is definitely a great success 😊
What would you say to people thinking about applying to Perrigo? Just DO IT. You will have a hell of a good time here both from a professional and personal perspective! You will definitely be part of a very strong culture and diverse Team.
How would you describe the company culture? I’d say that we, at Perrigo, are a very collaborative Team and always putting consumers’ first in whatever we do. We are living and breathing Self-Care which is not only at the heart of the company’s mission but in our hearts too. We believe in what we do and what we say and especially we do love honest conversations and trust one another. All combined is the perfect formula for an amazing and stimulating work environment.
What do you like about life at Perrigo? I love that you can always have your say and share your thoughts with the Management Team. There is a widespread openness to that which is encouraged by our leaders. This is the reason why people love working at Perrigo and you can make a real difference to consumers.
Tea or Coffee Drinker 😊 ? Coffee of course (typical answer from an Italian haha) but only if made with a moka pot 😉
